I'm trying to get an Athlon MP 1800+ running at it's rated 1.6Ghz but when I change the bus speed to 133/133 it won't post. It'll run at the
100/100 setting but then it's only going 1150 Mhz. I've had an Athlon MP 1600+ running at 133/133 just fine. If I have to knock the RAM speed down to
100 (it's PC2700) then it's not what I'd call an 'upgrade'.
I have CheepoMan's last BIOS running on the board. Is there a different modded BIOS that'll run this CPU correctly?
The difference between the two is the 1600 has a 10.5x multiplier and the 1800 has an 11.5x multiplier. Both are Palomino core.
