Hello!
I bought recently an Amd athlon XP 2600+ 266mhz for this board but it detects as an AMD Duron! I'm running the cpu and memory on a 133 FSB and I've using the latest official drivers.
The funny thing is that from this site: http://www.lejabeach.com/ECS/ez.html I can see that my problem is refered in the latest official bios driver BUT it doesn't solve the problem! Another strange thing is that if I run "cpu-z" it detects my board as K7S5A v1.0 but on the book that came with it and near PCI slots it tells me that it's the 3.1 version.
Does this affects my cpu performance or is it just a problem with displaying the right info?
