Hi, folks. My K7S5A is still alive!
I wanna squeeze the last drop of performance out of my good old K7S5A by replacing the cpu. Here are my specs: 768 MB
PC-3200 DDR-RAM; Duron 900 MHz; 160GB+40GB S harddrives (7200rpm and 5400rpm respectively); DVD-RW; CD-RW; Extra sound card; Dial-up Modem; Extra Ethernet
adapter (the motherboard doesn't have the integrated network card); Satellite DVB-card; NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX-200 videocard; Everest says my K7S5A
motherboard is revision 1.0. And all this is running perfectly on 250Watts PSU. I want to install Athlon XP Thoroughbred 2400+ or 2600+. What are my chances?
At the worst I could unplug some devices like soundcard, dialup modem, a hard-disk... Thank you everybody in advance
