Posts: 841 (05/03/04 10:24:44) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None The WinXP defragger seems soooooo slooooow- I used to defrag all drives( 4 at that time totalling 80GB) in WinME when I had dual boot - now I've ditched ME and have only XP on here and 3 drives (total 120gb) it seems to take an awful lot longer. I have got a trial copy of PerfectDisk V6 but have not yet installed and tried it- I thought I'd just ask if anyone has tried it or can recommend any other software for defrag ( Diskeeper ? or ??) Dave

Posts: 841 (05/07/04 23:03:43) Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Well I tried Perfectdisk yesterday - it does the job but I don't think it's any quicker than XP's own-it still took over 3 hours to defrag 14gb on a 80gb drive. I will give it another go in a few days- that was the first defrag after a complete WinXP and software installl a week ago.Maybe there won't be quite so much for it to do next time .
