I bought a 2800+ (266fsb) which doesn't seem to work, after fitting the cpu and turning the power on nothing happens; the power and harddrives led are on but there is no BIOS screen or video signal of any kind [monitor goes to stand-by].
What is the fastest CPU for this MB, I'm using the Cheepoman Overclocking BIOS. I read somewhere on the net that there is a BIOS that will recognize a 2800+, this is the link www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic7459.html
You can see from this forum that someone posted a link but it doesn't work. Does anyone know of a BIOS that will recognize a 2800+??
Right now I have a 2000+ with 1 gig of DDR Ram. Thanks in advance
