I've just installed a 160gb hard drive as a slave drive to go with an existing 40gb master hard drive. I'm fairly confident that the jumpers are set correctly as both are reading cable select.
My computer specs:
AMD1800+
512 Ram
ECS K7S5A Motherboard
Win XP Pro with SP1.
My problem is that windows does not recognise the disk in My Computer but I can see it listed in devices in the system. How can I get access to the drive so that I can format it and use?
PS My floppy drive does not work and can not get this working to update bios. The version I'm running is ami335.
