Sorry to hear you have the corruption issue..Are you not confortable with soldering or unsure of where?

Posts: 163 (01/30/02 07:23:21) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	im incapable the physics of soldering just dont mesh well with me i might as well throw the board in the garbage if you are leaving the soldering up to me join a pipe.......weld a bike frame cut a hole in some metal......sure but that little.......tiny....... miniscule itty bitty resistor.....no way i know my limits........if i cant use flux forget about a good connection i also wont do household electricity or plumbing..... i can do carpentry, drywall, hang a light--no prob

Like you, I can solder large stuff, sweating a joint and all that, but forget the itsy, bitsy electronic components. I can also arc weld a nice bead - real useful for the computer, eh?

Not clear if clips were fitted direct to resistor or to cable soldered to resistor but it would prevent board damage for those less sure of their soldering. (like you, I don`t mind welding ect but am not confident about tiny electrical components). I`me from UK (GMT)
