I have the option to change the time zone that the messages are displayed in. At present we are in GMT -8 for no reason other than that was the default.

Would prefer it if each user can customize that in his profile, but I guess that's not possible with EZboards. At least I found nothing in my profile/preferences. |

I'm in Ottawa, Canada, the Eastern part of the Great White North.
I think that GMT-8 means Pacific Coast time, right? So, to get EST I just have to add 3 hours, I think.  Adding I can handle, it's that damn subtracting that gives me trouble.  If it's not possible to change the time zone according to profile settings, I propose to use GMT/UTC. Is it possible to have the current time displayed on the forum pages? That way it'd much easier to figure out how old postings are. |
