Hi!
I have an ECS K7S5A with an AMD Sempron 2800+. The CPU was named AMD 1900+ in the BIOS Post. Can I unlock the mutliplier to increase the frequency without overclock bus and ram? Anyone have tryied to do this? Thanks! |

Hi TestOne, and welcome to the forum!
You'd have to do the L5 Bridge mod to convert the CPU to mobile, and then cut/fill some of the L6 bridges to change the default multiplier. See Section 4.2 of The Beginner's Guide referenced at the top of all forum pages. John |

How did you make out with that 'L5 mod to Mobile'?  Here is my new M848A v2.1 with a 1700+ @ 2400 MHz, and my trusty old M810L v7.1A with the same 1700+, running at 2500 MHz Also, some of my fancy cars are for sale on this page.
