I have a HP Pavilion with Windows XP media centre and I needed to change the motherboard because the old HP motherboard did not have a PCI-express or even AGP connector!!? I cant even believe anyone would supply a motherboard without a graphics slot!

It all started when i was changing the Network Card. After, i installed the new one, the pc when turned on, starts to beep. 2 beeps then immediatly 6 beeps.

I tried the VGA, the RAM, the hard disk on another pc and they all worked.

Now I disconnected totally the motherboard from the case and only connecting the VGA, the Ram and the hard disk. No beeping is sounding but also nothing is happening.

What should I try? what should I test?
